In 2014, paths crossed through mutual friends. Roupe was starting his career in Telford, while Manika was completing her psychology degree and traveling. We kept bumping into each other over the years. We discovered we lived roads apart, went to the same school, and the same university… the realisation hit us that the universe kept bringing us together.
We started dating in 2018 and realised a deeply close connection. We spent a lot of time together, enjoying all our similarities and differences, travelling and sharing memories with family and friends.
2023, was a big moment - we secured our first home and redecorated it together with our families.
In 2024, we got engaged and planned our future to realise nothing ever goes to plan. We packed up and moved to Dubai in 2025 to open new doors, go on an adventure and plan a wedding 7000km away from our home.
